Rounded Vase iva-polachova "I come to ceramics fromHand built ceramic vessel by Japanese artist Shinji Matsuo in his studio in rural Fukuoka. This piece is coloured by the flames of it's firing and is inspired by ancient forms found across cultures. Created using the coil technique, the piece is then pit fired in an open flame a process where fire, ash and earth naturally mark the surface.
