A small rounded tree, pink buds in April opening into white blushed fragrant flowers followed by large bright red fruits. Unless picked the fruits will remain on the tree throughout winter providing a colourful natural bird feeder. They are self fertile and as with most crab apples excellent pollinators. The beautiful dark green leaves turn a wonderful golden colour in the autumn. The fruit laden branches make
