Vintage Japanese Paper Sensu Folding Fan Jar The circular wood body featuresThis is a vintage Japanese Sensu or folding fan (c. mid to late Showa Period). They are usually made of paper or silk and bamboo or plastic and very often hand painted. Having been mainly in storage for many decades, this remains in overall good condition. These sensu tend to measures from about 8" to 10" long. Please note condition issues in photographs.
