I only fire if spare space is available in a fellow potters kiln (generally just twice a year) to cut down on additional energy use. Copper oxide has been applied to the front, leaving the rear unglazed so the natural quality of the clay can be appreciated. I have hung the pendant on recycled copper that I stripped from waste
