Putting +1/+1 counters on your stuff when dealing combat damage to a player is something Im not surprised to see on Temur cards, and the card draw activated ability is also linked with this color trio, as well as working well with the first triggered ability
On the front side, the Huntmaster is a 6-drop that makes a pair of 2/2 Wolf tokens, so that's 10 power and toughness across three bodies for six mana - a good result

Darkslick Shores picks up some of the slack here, allowing you to play a discard spell or draw spell, but there arent a lot of options when it comes to cheap removal out of either color (or at least, not that youd actually want to play)
