1907 Slim Sidesaddle Long Malacca Hunting Whip - w1610 dixon A single primitive hand forgedThis Edwardian whip has a staghorn or antler hook shaped handle. It has a silver collar. This is hallmarked Birmingham 1907 , the silversmith's stamp is too rubbed to read. The long slim stock or shaft is made of golden cane. The varnish of the cane has become worn and speckled from use over the last 100 years or so. It has a tan leather open keeper or loop. Dimensions : Staghorn : 3" (9cm) Length (not including keeper) 22" (56cm), keeper 5"
