There are two small dings to the silver near the join

The lid of the case is curved and closes with a brass buckle fastening

It has a rectangular footplate or treadThe triangular sides of the stirrup have koftgari inlaid gold coloured wire decoration in the form of a cypress tree with geometric patterns around it and silver coloured spots

1922 Antique Swaine & Adeney Leather Hunting Whip - w1701 bridle the author of "The HinduThis whip has a staghorn handle. There would have been silver button on the heel of the staghorn but this has been lost. It has a silver collar which is stamped "Swaine" and hallmarked London 1922. The collar is engraved "A. R D" . There are dents across the engraving. The stock or shaft is covered in brown braided leather. It has a stitched leather keeper and a pale braided leather thong with knot at its end.
