but they are in good solid condition for stirrups that I believe are likely to be more than 200 years old

It is in good conditionIt has its original finely stitched leather  keeper or tongue at its end and the remains of a braided thong

Antique 1893 Brass Decorated Heavy or Cart Horse Bridle - Bit961 gaucho Ref : spur355This bridle is made of very dark brown black leather. There is a screwhole in the top of the headpiece where a terret could be attached. It has blinkers, each of which is decorated with a brass plaque engraved "P"There is a similar plaque above the browband which carries a scalloped brass piece engraved "1893" . Below the browband there is a horse brass with a central heart. There are the remains of casting studs on the back of this brass. The
