End of the Spit wedding The clarity of light availableMaker : Peter Batchelder 14" x 14" Canvas Size 16" x 16 " Framed Oil On Canvas At the tip of the sand spit that forms the West Dennis Beach, on Cape Cod, the Bass River cuts in from Nantucket Sound, and snakes north until it ends as a couple of small salt ponds in center of the Cape. The farthest piece of sandy land on the spit ends at river, and is a beautiful mix of sea grass, scrub pine and oak, and sand. Its a barren and isolated place, but Ive
